Weekly poll results: the Honor 100 and 100 Pro have potential, but looks are a problem

2023-12-03

Last week’s poll shows that the Honor 100 duo has potential as half of voters expressed interest in the two phones, though not without some question marks. However, when reading through the comments we saw that the phones also have a critical flaw – the Art Nouveau design.

Oof, there were less than glowing comments about the looks of the two phones. We’re not sure whether there is a consensus on which of the two is better, but it sure sounds that the artistic shapes of either model are not liked by the majority.

Looks aside, the Honor 100 Pro fared better – a decent chunk of people like the hardware enough that there is little for it to prove in reviews (though plenty would still like to see it get the thumbs up before committing). There is some concern about the availability of the Pro model (the 90 Pro was launched only in China).

The Honor 100 has much more to prove. In fact, of the people who are interested in this model, the majority will hold off on making a final decision until detailed reviews of the phone are out.

On the plus side, Honor has priced the phones well – only a tenth of voters think they are overpriced. Of course, we don’t have the official prices for the global market yet, but they should be about the same considering that the Honor 90 and 100 have identical launch prices in China (the new Pro is 3% more expensive).

Honor has not revealed any details about a global launch for the 100 series, so we will have to wait and see. In the meantime, do you think that a case can cover up the unappealing design so that you can enjoy the powerful hardware without distraction? Drop us a line in the comments.
