vivo Y70t announced with Exynos 880 and 4,500 mAh battery

A third member of vivo’s Y70 series was announced in China today, say hello to the Y70t. Despite the Y70 branding, then new phone features identical specs to last year’s Y51s which itself was quite similar to the Y70s from earlier that year save for some different auxiliary cameras.

You get a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with a punch hole cutout for the 8MP selfie cam. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint on the power button and a headphone jack next to the USB-C port. The camera setup includes a 48MP main cam backed by a 2MP macro cam and 2MP depth helper. Samsung’s Exynos 880 SoC sits at the helm paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage which can be expanded via microSD.

The software front is covered by FuntouchOS 10.5 on top of Android 10. Battery-wise you get a 4,500mAh cell with 18W charging.

The baseline 6/128GB model retails for CNY 1,499 ($235), there’s also an 8/128GB trim for CNY 1,699 ($265) and a top of the line model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for CNY 1,999 ($310).
