vivo X70 Pro, X70 Pro+ global rollout begins
The vivo X70 series was announced on September 9, and three weeks later the manufacturer brought the lineup to the global audience. During a launch event, the vivo X70 Pro and vivo X70 Pro+ were introduced to the Indian audience, and we know they will arrive in other countries as well.
The flagship vivo X70 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 888+ and has a tremendous camera setup, while the vivo X70 Pro is a tad more affordable but still running on the mighty Dimensity 1200 chipset. The vanilla vivo X70 was missing from the event, as we received a confirmation from company executives that it was intentionally left out, but it might arrive to India.
The vivo X70 Pro and vivo X70 Pro+ promise to âredefine photographyâ, thanks to a third-generation gimbal camera system. The manufacturerâs partnership with Zeiss is continued in this generation of X smartphones, and they also have a T* coating on the lenses to reduce glare from photos and videos.
The partnership extends beyond hardware as the German optics company also provided the know-how for creating great bokeh images in different styles, depending on the focal length of the lens.
The vivo X70 Pro will be offered in Black color or an Aurora Dawn gradient and will cost INR46,990 ($630/â¬545) for 8/128 GB, INR49,990 ($670/â¬580) for 8/256 GB, or INR52,990 ($715/â¬615) for 12/256 GB. The vivo X70 Pro+ will be sold in Black, the Orange vegan leather option is still limited to China. It will cost INR79,990 ($1,075/â¬930) and will arrive with 12/256 GB memory.
Pre-bookings for the phones are already open. The Pro will start selling on October 7, while the Pro+ is scheduled for October 12. Users will also be able to purchase the 50W Wireless Flash Charge stand for INR4,499 ($60/â¬52).
