vivo X100 Ultra, X100s, X100s Pro prices leak
A few hours ago vivo announced the official launch date for the oft-teased X100 Ultra, its all-out flagship smartphone for 2024. It will be unveiled on May 13, which is next Monday, alongside the X100s and X100s Pro.
The pricing for all three models has been leaked in China. The Ultra is rumored to start at CNY 6,699 ($928 or â¬861 at the current exchange rates) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Going for the version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will allegedly cost CNY 7,499 ($1,039, â¬964), while the top of the line model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will be priced at CNY 8,499 ($1,178 or â¬1,092).
Those are flagship prices for a flagship device, undoubtedly. If it ever launches internationally, we wouldn't be surprised if it was going to be priced very similarly to Xiaomi's 14 Ultra. But let's not forget that this device is billed by vivo as "a professional camera that can also make calls", and it will come with a 200 MP periscope telephoto with a huge sensor (for a telephoto) to prove its prowess in the field.
The X100s will start at CNY 3,999 ($554 or â¬514) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it will go up to CNY 4,399 ($621 or â¬576) in the 16/256GB iteration, CNY 4,699 ($664 or â¬616) with the 16/512GB combo, and CNY 5,199 ($734 or â¬681) with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Finally, the X100s Pro will be priced at CNY 4,999 ($706 or â¬642) with 12/256GB, CNY 5,599 ($776 or â¬719) with 16/512GB, and CNY 6,199 ($859 or â¬796) with 16GB/1TB. The X100s and X100s Pro are expected to be minor refreshes of the already launched X100 and X100 Pro, with the main difference being the new models' flat displays and their use of the Dimensity 9300+ SoC. On the other hand, the X100 Ultra should go with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
