vivo V30 Lite unveiled with a 120Hz screen and 50MP selfie camera

vivo has unveiled the V30 Lite as the first smartphone in its V30 series. It's also the first V-series smartphone with an even number since previous smartphones had odd numbers such as V29, V27, V25, and so on.

The vivo V30 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC and has 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage onboard. It runs Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 out of the box, but there's no word from vivo on how many version upgrades it will receive.

The V30 Lite sports a 6.67" 120Hz FullHD+ E4 AMOLED screen with 1,150 nits peak brightness and packs a 4,800 mAh battery with 44W charging.

The smartphone features four cameras - 64MP primary (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and 50MP selfie. The rear cameras are joined by a circular flash called Aura Light. The rest of the vivo V30 Lite's highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP54 rating, NFC, and 5G connectivity.

The vivo V30 Lite is 7.69mm thin, weighs 190 g, and comes in two colors - Black Forest and Rose Gold. It's available in Mexico for MXN8,999 ($530/€480/INR44,210), but its availability in other markets is yet to be confirmed.
