vivo V25 arrives in India, pre-bookings start today
The vivo V25 will be available for pre-booking in India as of 15:00 local time. This comes nearly a month after the V25 Pro went on sale in the country. Some details for the V25 launch are still missing, e.g. there is no shipping date, but that will presumably be during Flipkartâs The Big Billion Days sales event (September 23-30).
Indeed, Flipkart is one of the retailers that will offer the V25, you can find it here. The phone is also up on vivoâs own store, of course. In both places the price of the base 8/128GB model is ?28,000 (you can also pick 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage).
Both Flipkart and vivo.com offer ?2,500 instant discount for HDFC/SBI/ICICI credit and debit cards. If you are trading in an old phone, vivo will also give you an extra ?2,000 on top of what the phone is valued. Note that the ?28,000 price includes a temporary 15% discount (MSRP is ?33,000).
Besides the online retailers, the vivo V25 will also be available through brick and mortar stores like Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Poorvika, Sangeetha and others.
The elevator pitch for the vivo V25 is a 6.44â AMOLED display (FHD+, 90Hz), Dimensity 900 (with 5G connectivity), 64MP main, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro cameras, plus a 50MP selfie camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging (0-61% in 30 minutes).
For comparison, the Pro model launched at ?36,000 for the same memory configuration (8/128GB). The Pro does have several advantages over its sibling like a slightly larger 120Hz display, a more powerful Dimensity 1300 chipset and larger battery with faster 66W charging.
Weâre already working on a V25 review, so stay tuned for a detailed report, including a closer look at whatâs up with that color changing back panel.
