vivo T3 Pro unveiled: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 120Hz curved display, and 5,500 mAh battery

vivo's T3 series includes three smartphones - T3, T3x, and T3 Lite. That number increased to four today with the unveiling of the vivo T3 Pro.

The vivo T3 Pro features a 6.77" 120Hz curved AMOLED display of 2,932x1,080-pixel resolution, having a pixel density of 387 ppi and 4,500 nits local peak brightness. It also has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication and a centered punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera.

The T3 Pro comes in two variants - Sandstone Orange and Emerald Green. The rear panel of the Sandstone Orange version is covered with vegan leather, while the Emerald Green model's cover has a matte finish. The former is also 6 g heavier, tipping the scale at 190g.

Regardless of which model you buy, you get a triple camera setup on the rear, which is a combination of a 50MP primary (Sony IMX882, OIS), 8MP ultrawide (120° FOV), and a flicker sensor. The smartphone also supports 4K video recording and has AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance features.

Powering the vivo T3 Pro is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 and comes with the promise of two years of Android software updates and three years of security patches.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W charging support. Other highlights include Wet Touch Technology for the display, an IP64 rating, dual stereo speaker, and 4D Game Vibration (supports BGMI and PUBG Mobile).

If the vivo T3 Pro looks familiar to you, it's because the T3 Pro is a version of the iQOO Z9s Pro that went on sale in India last week.

While the iQOO Z9s Pro is sold in India through iQOO's website and Amazon.in, the vivo T3 Pro will be sold through vivo's website, Flipkart, and offline stores starting September 3.

The vivo T3 Pro has two memory options - 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, priced at INR24,999 ($300/€265) and INR26,999 ($320/€290), respectively.
