vivo T1 5G live shots and camera samples surface online
The vivo T1 5G is right around the corner, with an official India launch date already set for February 9. We already know pretty much everything there is to know about the upcoming device, including its design and specs sheet. Even so, we are not about to turn down some live shots of the unannounced phone, as well as some early camera samples.
The former come courtesy of Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) and showcase a quite pretty device with a speckled soft color pattern on the back and a gentle teardrop selfie notch on the front.
The other batch of images is arguably even more interesting since these are actually camera samples from the Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) from the T1 5G.
Vivo has clearly already sent out media units to some folks in India and has allowed some gentle teasers. Great for publicity. Like Mokul says in his tweet: "Performance aside, it's going to be a super awesome device when it comes to camera capabilities ?". The T1 5G is actually not the same device as neither the vivo T1 nor the T1x already out in China. The T1 5G has a lower-end chipset than both of those - the Snapdragon 695. Other T1 5G specs include a 6.58" FHD+ 120 Hz LCD screen, 4/6/8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint reader embedded in the power button, and a 3.5mm headphone jack too.
In terms of cameras, the T1 5G has a triple rear setup - 50 MP main plus two 2 MP sensors, probably one for depth capture and the other for macro shots. On the selfie side, there is a 16MP snapper. On paper, a pretty solid camera setup, particularly on a device that is expected to cost under INR 20,000.
