vivo Pad3 arrives with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 12.1" 144Hz screen, and 10,000 mAh battery
vivo unveiled the Pad3 Pro in March with the Dimensity 9300 SoC, and as promised, the brand introduced the vanilla model today. The vivo Pad3 has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It runs OriginOS 4 on top of Android 14, but it's unclear how many Android version upgrades it will receive.
The vivo Pad3 is built around a 12.1" 144Hz LCD with a 2,800x1,968-pixel resolution and a 7:5 screen ratio. It has 600 nits peak brightness, covers the P3 gamut, and supports HDR10 and 1.07 billion colors. Additionally, the screen supports eye-friendly natural color temperature adjustment, anti-fatigue brightness adjustment, and elder-friendly color mode.
The vivo Pad3 features an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Fueling the entire package is a 10,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 44W.
Other highlights of the vivo Pad3 include a 6-speaker setup with 3D panoramic audio, a 3D heat dissipation system with a total heat dissipation area of 27,500 mm2, hardware ray tracing for gaming, and vivo's in-house BlueLM AI model.
The vivo Pad3 also supports the vivo Pencil2s stylus and Smart Touch Keyboard, which are sold separately. The Pencil2s has a non-slip grip and comes with wireless magnetic charging, dual buttons, and Chinese handwriting beautification. The keyboard, on the other hand, has 64 keys across five rows, connects via POGO pins, and features a trackpad.
The vivo Pad3 is 6.57mm thick, weighs 589.2g, and has a metal body. It's offered in blue, purple, and gray with four memory options - 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB, priced at CNY2,499 ($345/â¬320/INR28,690), CNY2,799 ($385/â¬360/INR32,135), CNY3,099 ($425/â¬400/INR35,580), and CNY3,399 ($470/â¬440/INR39,025), respectively.
The vivo Pad3 is available for pre-order in China through vivo's official website, and sales will begin on July 5.
