vivo continues teasing the S19 series ahead of tomorrow's unveiling
vivo is making the S19 and S19 Pro official tomorrow, on May 30, at 7 PM local time in China. Ahead of the unveiling, the company has released a constant stream of teasers on its Weibo account, and today is no different.
The S19 will have a 6,000 mAh battery, but even so it will be just 7.19mm thin. It's also advertised to come with "the first studio level full focal length portrait" camera according to Google's machine translation.
The S19 series will work without an issue even in temperatures of -20°C and you can listen to music continuously for 145 hours.
The S19 Pro is expected to pack a slightly smaller 5,500 mAh battery, and both models will have 80W fast wired charging. They will both have the same 6.78-inch 120 Hz "1.5K" OLED screen, but whereas the S19's will be flat, the S19 Pro will employ a curved-edge panel.
The S19 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the S19 Pro will go with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+. The S19's rear camera setup comprises of a 50 MP main shooter and an 8 MP ultrawide. The Pro gets a 50 MP main snapper with the Sony IMX920 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP 2x telephoto camera with the Sony IMX816 sensor.
The duo will run Android 14 underneath vivo's Origin OS 4. For now there's no word on whether they'll launch outside of China.
