Ulefone unveils Armor Mini 20 series, its smallest rugged phones yet
Today Ulefone has unveiled the Armor Mini 20T Pro, the Armor Mini 20 Pro, and the Armor Mini 20 4G. These are its smallest rugged smartphones to date, hence the "Mini" in the family name.
The 4G model is powered by MediaTek"s Helio G99 SoC, while the other two go with the Dimensity 6300 instead. The Armor Mini 20T Pro has advanced FLIR Thermal Imaging Lepton 3.5, with a 57-degree horizontal field-of-view and a thermal resolution of 160x120, and 25 Hz frame rate. The measurable temperature range is -10°C to 450°C and the accuracy is ±3°C.
The phone also has a flashlight function powered by 130 LEDs which output 500 lumens. The handset is IP68 rated for dust resistance and the ability to be immersed in 2m of water up to 30 minutes with no issue. It"s also IP69K rated for resisting intensive high-pressure high-temperature water jets. And there"s MIL-STD-810H certification as well.
It is offered with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage, and a 4.7-inch 720x1600 LCD touchscreen with 90 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus on top. On the rear sits a 50 MP camera with a 1/1.31" Samsung GN1 sensor, while for selfies you get a 32 MP Samsung GD1 sensor. You can take pictures and record video underwater as well.
There"s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button, and a beefy 6,200 mAh battery with support for 33W wired and 15W wireless charging. Reverse wired and wireless charging is supported too.
The Armor Mini 20 Pro offers a 64 MP infrared night vision camera instead of thermal imaging, and that"s the only difference between it and the 20T Pro. Otherwise, these are the same phone, which, by the way, measures 133.5 x 63.3 x 24.9 mm and weighs 301g. The Armor Mini 20 should be identical to the Pro, save for its lack of 5G connectivity.
The Armor Mini 20 Pro is priced at $369.99, and the Armor Mini 20T Pro costs $469.99. They"re both available from Ulefone.
