There’s a Dimensity 9000 version of the Oppo Find X5 Pro
Following all the Oppo news of the day surrounding the phone maker’s new Find X5 lineup, there’s word of a MediaTek version of the Find X5 Pro. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered model of the Find X5 Pro, there will be one outfitted with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity Editon is the first smartphone to launch with MediaTek’s new chipset, announced late last year.

Compared to the Qualcomm version of the phone for global markets, the Dimensity model has identical specifications from the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, to the 12GB + 256GB configuration, 5000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, and the cameras outfitted are the same.

The main difference, aside from the chipset, is that the Dimensity model will not come with: the MariSilicon X image chip, 5-axis OIS, nor Hasselblad’s color calibration.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition will come in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White options priced at CNY 5799 (~€812) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. For reference, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant runs for CNY 6299 (~€882) with the same RAM + storage configuration.
The Dimensity Edition goes on pre-sale on March 14 with general availability arriving March 18 in China.
