The Oppo Find N3 weight and thickness measured in live photos

The Oppo Find N3 will be larger than the Find N2 – according to rumors the cover display will measure 6.31” (1,116 x 2,484px) and the main display will be 7.82” (2,440 x 2,268px), compared to 5.54” (1,080 x 2,120px) and 7.1” (1,920 x 1,792px) on the Find N2. This is with different aspect ratios, though, so we’ve made diagrams below to illustrate the relative sizes. This means that the N3 will be heavier too and we now know by how much.

The CEO of Weibo posted an image of the foldable flagship on a digital scale that reads 244.8g. This up from 233g (or 237g, depending on which color you pick). Note that the posted images include a Huawei Mate X3 on the same scales with 248.9g on the display (officially, the X3 is 239g or 241g).

Measuring the Oppo Find N3 weight and thickness

Anyway, the CEO had calipers handy too, so we now know the thickness of the Find N3 – it will be slimmer at 12.44mm when closed (compared to 14.6mm for Oppo’s previous horizontal foldable).

The Oppo Find N3 global launch is scheduled for October 3. The Find N3 Flip has already been unveiled in China and is making its international debut today.

While no details have been officially confirmed yet, phone is expected to have flagship cameras (50MP main, 48MP ultra wide and 32MP periscope), larger displays and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The larger phone will have a larger 4,805mAh battery (up from 4,520mAh on the Find N2) with 100W wired charging as well as wireless charging (a first for the series, the charging rate is unknown for now). By the way, the OnePlus Open (the company’s first foldable) will be using the same hardware and should be available more widely than the Find N3 itself.
