Test drive a Galaxy S23 from another phone with Samsung's new Try Galaxy app
Samsung has unveiled a new update to its Try Galaxy app today. This app is the one you can use on a non-Samsung phone to test drive what the experience of owning one would be like.
And starting today, Try Galaxy lets you test drive new features from the Galaxy S23 series and Samsung's One UI 5.1 skin on top of Android 13. The app is available in 14 languages, including Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese (CN/TW), English, French, French (Canadian), German, Japanese, Portuguese (BR), Spanish, Spanish (Mexican), Swedish, and Vietnamese.
The app offers tutorials, and lets you sample apps and features available on a Galaxy device, including the camera with its "truly cinematic Nightography and transformative AI for vivid and clear night shots". You can also test in-app editing tools like Photo Remaster.
A video inside the app demonstrates how the S23 series is "redefining peak performance", and Samsung boasts that you can also immerse yourself in "the latest world of One UI 5.1 with customizable wallpapers, icons, message interfaces, backgrounds and more", for a mobile experience that matches your personality and style.
If you're interested, you can grab the new app by scanning the barcode in the image above, or going directly to trygalaxy.com on your phone.
Samsung Electronics Vice President Sonia Chang said: "We're committed to continuing to give people who aren't already Samsung users the opportunity to explore what's possible with the best and latest Galaxy experiences".
