Tecno introduces Camon 20, 20 Pro and 20 Pro 5G

Tecno announced its four-member strong Camon 20 series today and we’ll be focusing on the Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro and Camon 20 Pro 5G in this article. The three phones have a similar design with unorthodox back camera island and share a 120Hz 6.67-inch AMOLED display.

Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro and Camon 20 Pro 5G

Camon 20 Pro 5G is one of the first devices launched with MediaTek’s new 6nm Dimensity 8050 chipset - a rebadged Dimensity 1300 from last year. Camon 20 Pro gets a 6nm Helio G99 SoC while the vanilla Camon 20 is equipped with a 12nm Helio G85. All three phones feature 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Similarities continue at the back, where all three Camon 20 series phones have 64MP main cams alongside 2MP macro shooters. The Pro 5G model gets OIS on its main lens and a 2MP depth sensor, while the other two feature QVGA modules behind the third lens.

There’s a 32MP selfie cam upfront for all three phones. Camon 20 Pro and Pro 5G get optical fingerprint scanners embedded under the screen while Camon 20 makes do with a side-mounted scanner.

In all cases you get Android 13 with Tecno’s HIOS 13 on top and an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. The phones are powered by 5,000mAh batteries with 33W charging support.
