Take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S24 in four colors in official-looking renders
Samsung is widely expected to introduce the Galaxy S24 family at some point next month, and as we are almost at the end of December, it's time for the official-looking renders to come out, seemingly. The first set has been leaked today and depicts the 'vanilla' Galaxy S24 in all its glory, in not one, not two, not three, but four upcoming colorways.
Ladies and gentlemen, here it is in all its glory in Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow. On top of these, there will apparently be three more hues, which will be exclusive to Samsung.com: blue, green, and orange. That's a whole lot of colors to pick from.
The Galaxy S24 has a flat screen, unsurprisingly, nice-looking symmetrical bezels, rounded corners, and a flat metal frame with antenna line cutouts. The back panel is flat too, with a chamfered edge. The power and volume buttons have undergone the flattening treatment as well. According to previous rumors, the S24 and S24+ will be have an aluminum frame like their predecessors.
The rear camera array looks so much like the one on the S23 that you'll have to be an expert in LED flash placement to tell them apart really. Unfortunately for some, the S24 will sport the Exynos 2400 SoC in some markets, including Europe. In the US, that will be swapped for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, like in the good ol' days pre-S23. The S24 will have 8GB of RAM as standard, even though the S24+ will get 12GB. The base storage will be 128GB.
The screen is a 6.2-inch 1080x2340 LTPO OLED with 2,500-nit peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Perhaps disappointingly, the cameras are expected to remain the exact same ones seen in the S23. The S24 will of course ship with Android 14, and then it will slap One UI 6.1 on top, which will seemingly be all about AI this and AI that.
The Galaxy S24 will have a 4,000 mAh battery, up 100 mAh from its predecessor, and yet the charging speed will remain the same 25W. You'll also get 15W wireless charging. While the S24 will miss out on Wi-Fi 7, it will get satellite connectivity. The price should remain the same that the S23 was going for when it launched early this year.
