Spring 2010 UK Market Update: HTC Desire and Legend, X10 mini and mini pro all due in a month
Some of the most interesting devices introduced at this year"s MWC will hit UK stores in a few short weeks. Here are the current market details about HTC Desire, HTC Legend, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and its QWERTY keyboard Pro version plus the Motorola Milestone.
We spin off with an immediate release - the Motorola Milestone has been around the UK market in the past few months but only as an Expansys exclusive. As of today Carphone Warehouse has started stocking up as well, so you should be able to get it from there with a contract of your choice.
You can even get it for free if you sign a contract with Orange, T-Mobile or Vodafone. Monthly fees start at 30 GBP.
Next up on the Market Update list are the two latest Android smartphones by HTC - the HTC Desire and the HTC Legend. Amazon UK should be shipping those on 1 April and they are already listed for pre-order. Hopefully, that"s not an early April Fools" joke. The HTC Desire costs 529 GBP (583 euro) while it"s cheaper bro, the HTC Legend, sells for 400 GBP (approximately 442 euro).
A couple of weeks later, on 13 April, Expansys will start selling the tiny Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro and the even tinier X10 mini. The X10 mini pro can be yours for 340 GBP (375 euro) while the keyboard-less X10 mini will cost 40 GBP less, 300 GBP (or 331 euro).

Two more Sony Ericsson devices are about to start shipping within a month. The Vivaz, which is already available for preorder, will hit the shelves on 12 March on Vodafone network. The long awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is also expected to become available in either March (at T-Mobile UK) or maybe sometime in April (at Vodafone UK).
