Sony Xperia 5 IV launching on September 1
Sony is hosting a new launch event on September 1 where weâre expecting to see the debut of the Xperia 5 IV. The event is scheduled to take place from 4PM Japan time/9AM CEST and will be live-streamed on the official Sony Xperia YouTube channel.
Sony teamed up with artist Cat Burns who shot and recorded her latest music video on the ânew Xperiaâ phone though she didnât explicitly mention itâs the Xperia 5 IV. Based on rumors and a more recent FCC certification Xperia 5 IV will debut with Qualcommâs Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a camera setup similar to the outgoing Xperia 5 III with three 12MP sensors. The device is also expected to bring a 6-inch OLED screen and wireless charging.
