That"s it folks, after several leaks about the 8 megapixel cameraphone, without further ado the Samsung Memoir is finally out in its full glory. It comes with GPS, a 3-inch touchscreen display and a xenon flash so it doesn"t get any more hight tech than that.

After we published the full specs of the T-Mobile-exclusive Samsung T929 Memoir yesterday, today it finally got official.

The Samsung Memoir is the first 8 megapixel mobile phone to be sold through a USA carrier. Beside the 8 megapixel snapper, you also get a xenon flash, which is a rarity in Samsung cameraphones. There"s also WVGA (720x480 pixels) video recording at 30 fps.
