Samsung One UI 6 beta with Android 14 reaches India, Galaxy S23 series first in line
Samsung is preparing the second One UI 6 beta, and reports from China suggested the software update might be delayed for a couple of days. While some markets are waiting for an updated user interface version, today, India got its first taste of One UI 6 beta running on top of Android 14.
Screenshots, posted on X, revealed Samsung has opened registrations for users with Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices. The update is about 3 GB in size and comes with the latest security patch.

Officially, One UI 6 beta and Android 14 bring “a fresh new design as well as enhancements to personalization, productivity, and security”. India, along with China and the United Kingdom are markets where the Beta 1 software is currently arriving, while Germany, South Korea, and the United States should be getting Beta 2.
In reality, users are reporting some issues like Color Palette not working reliably, the home screen removing apps and their shortcuts, and battery life yet to be optimized, meaning anyone willing to jump into the Beta testing should prepare for some power issues until the user interface gets to its final stage.
