Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6's Chinese twin certified with 25W wired charging

Samsung is launching the Galaxy Z Fold6 on July 10, and while most specs and renders already leaked, the charging and battery remain unknown.

The Chinese variant of the foldable was just certified at 3C (CCC – Chinese Compulsory Certification), where it was revealed the SM-W9025 phone will support 25W wired charging. This is the same rate Samsung has been using in the past four years, all the way back to the Galaxy Z Fold2, launched in September 2020.

The certified phone will launch in China as Samsung W25. It should be a more premium version of the Galaxy Z Fold6 with a slightly different design and the highest memory tier; it would be available with China Telecom, the country's biggest carrier.

The price will also be higher to match the luxurious appearance of the W lineup but the variant is unlikely to escape China.

Samsung W24 aka Galaxy Z Fold5

The information about the W25 was followed by a post from tipster Ice Universe, who claimed there is also a Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim without support for the S Pen. The global unveiling of the new foldables is next Wednesday, after which we'll know for sure.
