Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch6 are getting the One UI Watch 6 update
Last month, Samsung announced that it"s rolling out the One UI Watch 6 update to the Galaxy Watch6, Watch5, and Watch4 units but the update was going to roll-out gradually.
A few days ago, Galaxy Watch4 users began reporting that the update is live for their units - starting with Korean ones and today, some Galaxy Watch6 owners in Europe are getting their One UI Watch 6 serving.
In all cases, the One UI Watch 6 update is based on the latest Wear OS 5 and carries the October 2024 security patch. One UI Watch 6 brings a slight visual change with snappier animations and reworked icons. There are a few new One UI Watch 6 faces, including Spatial Number, Simple Digital, and Ultra Infor Board.
It also introduces the Energy Score, which combines your sleep quality with activity levels and heart rate data to give you an overall health score.
Sleep tracking gets better tracking for your movement and respiratory rate, and opens up the Sleep Apnea detection feature to older models.
Interestingly, there aren"t many reports of Galaxy Watch5 users getting the update. If you own a series 4, 5, or 6 Galaxy Watch, check your Galaxy Wearable app and your version of the Galaxy Wearable plug-in for an update.
