Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ pricing revealed, Violet model appears
We've seen rumors from Roland Quandt in the past and they've been quite reliable for the most part. Today, @rquandt tweets of EU pricing for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ due to be announced at the end of the month.
The Galaxy S8 will allegedly start at 800 ($845) while the larger-screened Galaxy S8+ will be starting at 899 ($950). This means the duo will be more expensive than the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at launch.
There is also word of a new color option: Violet. We've never seen a Violet colored Galaxy S flagship so we can't be sure on the exact shade Samsung will go with, but we'll know soon enough.
