Samsung Galaxy S25 series to be more expensive than the S24 family in India

2025-01-18

Samsung is making the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra official on January 22, and you obviously may have been wondering what to expect from the trio in terms of pricing. We"ve already shared a leak from Europe and one from Korea on the matter, and today it"s time to turn our attention towards India.

A new leak from a tipster over on X claims to have pricing information from unnamed retail sources. According to them, the Galaxy S25 will be ₹84,999 with 256GB of storage and ₹94,999 with 512GB. The S25+ will go for ₹1,04,999 and ₹1,14,999, respectively, for the same storage options. Both of these models have 12GB of RAM.

The S25 Ultra is more special as its base version has 12GB of RAM and the other two come with 16GB, apparently. This will start at ₹1,34,999 with 256GB and go up to ₹1,44,999 with 512GB and ₹1,64,999 with 1TB of storage.

That is, of course, if this leak is accurate. Keep in mind that this is far from official information. And yet, if these prices do end up being the ones Samsung will ask, what do you think about them?

It seems like all three devices have received a ₹5,000 price hike compared to their predecessors. That may be on account of the more expensive Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset they"re using, and for the Galaxy S25 there"s a RAM upgrade as well as for the two most expensive iterations of the Ultra.
