Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge's screen size is "almost" the same as the S25+'s

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge is launching in April, and according to recent rumors, it will weigh less than 162g. It's also now said to be just 5.84mm thick, down from the previously rumored 6.4mm.

Today a new leak tells us that the Edge's screen size will be almost identical to that of the Galaxy S25+. This is based on the leak of a purported screen protector for the S25 Edge, seen below.

The Galaxy S25 Edge, back when we knew it as Galaxy S25 Slim, has in fact numerous times been rumored to have the exact same screen as the Galaxy S25+, and basically the same design on the front - it would just be a lot thinner.

We've since found out, courtesy of Samsung's teasers, that the Edge will also differ on the rear, where it will house just two cameras vs. the S25+'s three. The omission of an extra sensor could be why it's actually thinner than originally anticipated.

According to Geekbench, the S25 Edge will be getting the full Snapdragon 8 Elite experience, not the seven-core CPU chipset that recently surfaced. And if that pans out, then expect heavy throttling to account for the lack of internal space for heat dissipation.
