The new images shed more details about the camera update of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. If the images are the real deal, we are looking at a 2x increase of the “optical quality zoom,” which may be a 2x digital zoom on top of the wide-angle main cam and 5x optical telephoto cam.
Greater improvements will be made in image editing with the power of AI. The images showcased a bike rider on a ramp that can be edited to jump higher than in real life.
The Galaxy AI feature will be available on “supported Galaxy devices”, meaning it could expand to other flagships, but has only been confirmed to remain free until 2025. After that, Samsung will likely go the Google One way, which is locking some features behind a subscription.
