Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra will all have titanium frames, new rumor claims
Last month the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max launched with titanium frames instead of the stainless steel used in their predecessors. The novelty won't last long, however, if the latest rumor regarding Samsung's Galaxy S24 family pans out.
According to a tipster over on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will all have titanium frames. We've already seen all three of them in leaked CAD-based renders, and those images portrayed very flat frames.
But up until now the prevailing theory, based on one prior rumor, was that only the S24 Ultra would be titanium-clad. Now, this rumor claims that Samsung won't discriminate amongst its high-end devices - at least not in this one regard.
Make sure you take this with a pinch of salt, however, since it's just an unconfirmed rumor for now. What's more, famed leakster Ice Universe replied to the original X post you can see above, reiterating that only the Ultra will get the titanium treatment. So: maybe, maybe not. Let's wait for some more rumors and leaks to get a better idea of what to expect. Samsung is rumored to unveil the S24 series in January, so there's still plenty of time.
