Samsung Galaxy S24 images reveal flat design

Last month, reliable tipster Ice universe claimed Samsung will adopt a flat design with the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, and their claim has been corroborated by leakster OnLeaks, who, in partnership with Smartprix, has shared Galaxy S24's renders revealing its design.

Like the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S24 also has a flat back, but it's a departure from the S23's curved frames since it has iPhone-like flat frames, which could make the smartphone less comfortable to hold for some.

You can also notice that the LED flash on the rear is now placed between the first and second camera and not next to the first camera like the Galaxy S23. The button placement is the same since the power button and volume rocker remain on the right-side frame, but a UWB antenna now joins them. At the bottom is the USB-C port, flanked by a SIM card slot, microphone, and speaker.

The source claims the Galaxy S24 will pack a 6.1" display like the Galaxy S23 but have different dimensions: 147 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm vs. Galaxy S23's 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6 mm.

Last week, leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A15 revealed it will come with flat frames, so expect more Samsung smartphones to adopt this design next year.

Circling back to the Samsung Galaxy S24, the smartphone is rumored to launch on January 18 next year with the S24+ and S24 Ultra, which is earlier than usual. And if that's true, you'll hear much more about the Galaxy S24 lineup in the coming weeks.
