Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is now available in the US with a sneaky price hike

At the beginning of October, following many months of rumors and leaks, Samsung finally made the Galaxy S23 FE official. And today it's available in the US.

The price Samsung announced during the unveiling was $599, and yet - if you go to Samsung.com now and try to buy one, you'll notice a sneaky price hike. The phone is listed as $629.99. Sure, $30 isn't much, but this device was made official 23 days ago, and that's more than $1 extra per day.

Luckily, if you want an S23 FE but don't want to pay Samsung's inflated price, Amazon comes to the rescue, as it's offering the phone for the originally unveiled price of $599. What's more, you can even get a $100 gift card with it for free, for future purchases at Amazon.

That effectively makes the phone $499, which is a very competitive price for the midrange-starved US market.

The Galaxy S23 FE comes with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080x2340 resolution, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 12 MP ultrawide, 8 MP 3x optical zoom telephoto), a 10 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. It runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top.
