Samsung Galaxy M04 is on its way to India, price leaks
The Samsung Galaxy M04 has been doing the rounds in the rumorverse ever since the summer, when a prototype was spotted in a benchmark database. A couple of days ago the upcoming model was listed in the Google Play Console, which generally signifies that a launch is rather close.
Today, we get a rumored confirmation of its launch in India, as well as the fact that it will be priced under ₹10,000. In fact, if the leaked promo image you can see below pans out, expect the Galaxy M04 to start at a maximum of ₹8,999.
As you can see, the phone sports two camera sensors on the back, and a waterdrop notch up front housing the selfie snapper. According to another leaked promo image, it will sport a whopping 8GB of RAM in its top version, although this might just be adding up the expandable RAM to the actual physical amount, which will start at just 3GB, according to that Google Play Console listing.
Speaking of which, that sighting of the M04 already confirmed that this device is powered by MediaTek"s entry-level Helio G35 chipset, which means it will also max out at 4G LTE connectivity, no 5G here.
The Console listed it as running Android 12, which may unfortunately be the version it launches with, despite the fact that Android 13 has been out for a while now. The screen"s resolution is 720x1600, and the handset has a fingerprint sensor embedded into its power button on the right side.
