Samsung Galaxy F55 launch postponed for May 27, full specs posted

Samsung was supposed to launch its Galaxy F55 in India today but the event has now been postponed for May 27. That didn’t stop Samsung from listing the F55's full specs on its website with the only remaining question mark being pricing.

Galaxy F55 is a rebrand of the Galaxy C55 which launched in China last month and the Galaxy M55 which is already available in India. The key specs include a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and features a triple camera setup with a 50MP main cam with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro module.

Rounding out the list is a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Samsung also confirmed the F55 will receive four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches.

Galaxy F55 comes in Raisin Black and Apricot Crush colors - both featuring vegan leather backs. Samsung India previously revealed the device will start at INR 2x,999 meaning pricing for the 8/128GB trim will be in the INR 20,000 - 29,999 ballpark.
