Samsung Galaxy A36 appears in new listing ahead of launch
The Galaxy A36 is expected to arrive later this year as the logical successor to last yearâs Galaxy A35 and it just bagged another key listing. The device was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulatory page with the same SM-A366E/DS identifier.
In addition to the listing, Samsung Kazakhstan and Samsung Russia both listed the Galaxy A36 (SM-A366E/DS) support pages, signaling an imminent launch.
Galaxy A36 is expected to launch with an updated design featuring a unified camera island with three sensors as seen in renders from a few months ago.
As per Geekbench, Galaxy A36 will be equipped with either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It will likely launch with One UI 7 on top of Android 15.
The upcoming Samsung midranger is rumored to feature a 50MP main shooter and an updated 12MP front-facing camera. Weâve also seen confirmation for 45W charging powering a 5,000 mAh cell.
