Samsung Galaxy A06 in for review

This is the Samsung Galaxy A06 and it has everything you'd ever need of a phone.

It has a big screen, a high-megapixel main camera, a big battery, a touch of style, and good software support. All that for under $200. It ships in a barebones box with a USB cable, though, so add the price of a charger if you don't have one around.

Upfront is a big 6.7-inch PLS LCD with a basic 720x1600px resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. Inside, you get a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM.

The battery capacity is 5,000mAh, while the 25W usual Samsung charging doesn't feel that bad in this price range. Finally there's a 50MP f/1.8 main camera that will hopefully produce fine photos and usbale 1080p video.

In a feat almost never seen in this segment, the Galaxy A06 comes with up to 4 years of security updates and up to 2 OS updates.

The Galaxy A06 is a big phone

The Galaxy A06 comes in an interesting striped design on the rear panel and its side-mounted volume and power buttons sit on an elevated island of sorts with a slightly rounded design as opposed to the rest of the frame, which is flat.

The stripes out back refrect light in different colors, accenting the yellow colorway.

We'll do a proper review on the Galaxy A06 soon, so stay tuned!
