Rumor: Galaxy Z Fold6 will be 11mm thick and lighter thanks to titanium
A second report has surfaced, pointing to a thinner Galaxy Z Fold6. According to @chunvn8888 on X, citing sources, the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be much thinner and lighter, and exactly 11mm when folded.
This is reportedly achieved by using titanium in the phone"s build, though the same didn"t yield any meaningful weight reduction on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The report continues by saying that the Galaxy Z Fold6 won"t have an S Pen slot, it will be wider and have Galaxy S24 Ultra-styled edges.
There will be three cameras, which Yogesh Brar suggests are the same-sounding 50MP wide, 10MP zoom, and 12MP ultrawide as the Galaxy Z Fold5. He suggests the cover screen will expand to 6.4 inches and have a conventional 20:9 aspect.
Finally, the Galaxy Z Fold6 will come in three colors, use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a bigger, 4,600mAh battery, and an improved under-display camera.
