Redmi Note 14 Pro+ joins the AnTuTu chart for September
On the first day of each month AnTuTu publishes two charts for the previous months, one showing the best performing top of the line smartphones, the other focusing on upper-midrange devices. October is upon us, so let's see what the situation in the charts is for September.
The Red Magic 9S Pro+ has topped the high-end chart once again, while the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has managed to climb to second place. It's followed by the Redmi K70, iQOO Neo9S Pro+, iQOO Neo9S Pro, iQOO Z9 Turbo+, iQOO 12, vivo X100, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.
Compared to August, the vivo X100 Ultra and X100 Pro have left the Top 10, replaced by the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ and the iQOO 12. As you can see, there are no Oppo devices in the chart this time around, nor any Xiaomis, which tells you that those brands aren't very focused on optimizing performance in benchmarks like this one.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version still leads, at least until the 8 Gen 4 and the Dimensity 9400 show up later this month. It is, as the folks at AnTuTu say, the calm before the storm now. Of the Top 10, six devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the remaining four by the Dimensity 9300 or 9300+.
Moving on to the upper-midrange space, the OnePlus Ace 3V continues to lead, followed by the Realme GT Neo6 SE, Redmi K70E, Realme GT Neo5 SE, Redmi Note 12 Turbo, iQOO Z8, and iQOO Neo7 SE, making the Top 7 identical to last month's. The changes come in the three remaining positions, with the Redmi Note 12T Pro climbing one spot into No.8, the iQOO Z9 being ninth, and the recently launched Redmi Note 14 Pro+ snatching the tenth position.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is still the king of this space, powering the devices occupying the top two positions. Its only real alternative is the Dimensity 8300-Ultra that's in third. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 simply can't compete at the top of this list so they're relegated to the lower positions.
These AnTuTu charts show the average score of each model in September, and exclude devices with less than 1,000 runs. The data is from China only.
