Redmi Note 12 Turbo passes through Geekbench with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 on board

Earlier today we found out that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will become official at an event in China on March 28. This will be the world's first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which was announced last week. This is by far the highest-performing 7-series Snapdragon ever made, so the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be a definite step above in terms of raw processing power compared to any of its siblings.

On its way to the launch, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo passed through Geekbench today, managing a 1,213 single-core score and a 3,972 multi-core score. Aside from the SoC, which we already knew about, the listing confirms that the phone will arrive with Android 13 on board. The specific prototype which was being tested had 12GB of RAM, though we assume versions with less than that will also be available.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo was also certified in China by TENAA recently, along with MIIT and CCC. These certifications revealed that it has support for 67W fast wired charging, just like the Redmi Note 12 Pro.

The Turbo model has been rumored to bring an in-display fingerprint sensor for the first time to the Redmi Note family. Other rumored specs include a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED display, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
