Poco X3 GT will be unveiled on July 28, less than a week after the F3 GT

There are two GT phones coming from Xiaomi later this month – the Poco F3 GT will launch in India on July 23 and today we learn that the Poco X3 GT will be unveiled in Malaysia on July 28. The event will be live streamed through the brand’s official Facebook page at 20:00 local time.

This hasn’t been officially confirmed, but what we know so far suggests that the X3 GT will be the global name for China’s Redmi Note 10 Pro). This is not to be confused with the Indian or global Note 10 Pro (though it’s already more than a little confusing).

The Chinese version has a 6.6” 120 Hz LC with Gorilla Glass Victus and HDR10 support. It is powered by the Dimensity 1100 chipset with faster UFS 3.1 storage, but no microSD card slot. The camera setups are identical, 64+8+2 MP on the back, 16 MP on the front. The stereo speakers are present on all three models, but the Chinese one loses the 3.5 mm jack. It should have NFC, though. The battery capacity is essentially identical at 5,000 mAh, though the charging is much faster at 67W (100% charge in 42 minutes). Here’s a head to head comparison.

The Poco F3 GT is also based on a Redmi model, the K40 Gaming Edition, specifically. With a 120 Hz OLED display and a Dimensity 1200 chipset, it should be the pricier of the two. The Poco F3 (S870 chipset, but slower 33W charging) sells for around €300 right now (MSRP is €350), so expect the F3 GT model to cost around the same and the X3 GT a bit less than that.
