Oukitel WP33 Pro has a 22,000 mAh battery and a huge speaker on the back
The new Oukitel WP33 Pro proudly stands against slimness. And lightweight smartphones. It boasts an absolutely insane 22,000 mAh battery, billed as the largest ever put in a phone. The handset weighs 577.5g, and is 27.2mm thick. Now that's a device that you will never, ever forget you have in your pocket! That is, if you have reinforced pockets, as we're unsure whether normal ones can take something like this without bursting at the seams.
The Oukitel WP33 Pro is also very wide at 84 mm, making it, most likely, impossible to hold and operate with one hand by anyone, including NBA players. At least the height is in the normal realm at 175.4 mm.
It's powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6100+ chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The screen is a 6.6-inch 1,080x2,408 IPS panel with 60 Hz refresh rate and 450-nit brightness. It has Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The main camera on the rear has a 64 MP Sony IMX686 1/1.73" sensor with f/1.89 aperture and an LED flash. You also get a 20 MP night vision camera featuring the Sony IMX350 1/1.78" sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an infrared fill light. Finally, a 2 MP macro camera made by BYD (most well known for electric cars, but branching out as it seems). Selfies are taken care of by a 32 MP camera using the Sony IMX616 sensor.
The main feature on the back has nothing to do with the cameras, however. It's the absolutely insane 5W speaker which measures 36mm in diameter and is capable of 136dB maximum loudness.
According to Oukitel's own measurements, an iPhone 15's speakers top out at 98dB, an alarm siren is at about 109dB, an outdoor speaker can generally go up to 116dB, while a jet engine will produce 120dB, and the WP33 Pro's speaker is even louder than that. It also has "8D Immersive Stereo Surround" sound, because 3, 4, 5, 6, or even 7 definitely weren't enough Ds.
The WP33 Pro supports 33W wired charging (it takes 5 hours to go from 0 to 100%), and 18W reverse wired charging to top up other devices from its mammoth battery. The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, it's IP69K certified to withstand high-pressure water jets, and it's MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand a 1.5m drop. A fingerprint sensor is on the side. It runs Android 13 and you most likely shouldn't expect any updates.
The Oukitel WP33 Pro currently seems to only be available on AliExpress from Oukitel's official store. It's priced at $594.98 before coupons and discounts, and it should ship within 72 hours of your order.
