Oppo Reno9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus renders leak online
Oppo is expected to announce the Reno9 series of phones in China this month, and there has been no shortage of rumors and leaks surrounding the devices as of late. We can now add another one to the mix - a set of renders courtesy of industry leakster Evan Blass.
He claims that the Reno9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus are all featured in the leak and indeed, looking at the very similar renders, we can spot some differences. If the leak holds water, it appears that even the vanilla Reno9 will have a curved display. What it might not have, according to the renders, though, is Oppo's custom MariSilicon imaging NPU since the text is absent from the camera island of one of the phones.
It is also fairly easy to notice that what is presumably the Reno9 Pro Plus has a bigger camera island, not sitting flush with the rest of the phone's body and an extra camera. This render matches up nicely with the live photos of the Reno9 from last month.
We also have some rumored specs, though we can't necessarily say which Reno9 model these might be associated with. Presumably, the vanilla Reno9. The specs include a 6.7" OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution and an under-display fingerprint reader. A 64MP Omnivision OV64B main snapper on the back and a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie on the front. The Reno9 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset with 12GB RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
As for the Reno9 Pro Plus, current leaks suggest it will rock a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset and a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main camera sensor.
