Oppo Reno6 Z 5G will join the rest of the 6-series, Reno6 Pro 5G gets certified
Oppo is expected to announce the Reno6 series on May 22, but while we thought weâd only get three phones, now it looks like there will be at least four. An Oppo Reno 6 Z 5G (CPH2237) was certified by Malaysiaâs SIRIM. This is not even two months after the Reno5 Z 5G was unveiled (it came after the initial Reno5 series launch).
The 4 Z phone is a rebranded Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G, but it is unknown whether the 5 Z has a twin. It should be different from the Oppo Reno6, though, we know that much. That one recently cropped up on TENAA, showing a 6.43â display and 4,200 mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
Then there are the Oppo Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+. The Pro model, CPH2247, showed up on SIRIM as well and more recently at the NBTC, its full name listed is as the âOppo Reno6 Pro 5Gâ. This flurry of certifications confirms that the phone 6-series of phones are nearing launch.
The Pro model will be powered by a Dimensity 1200 chipset with a 6.55â 1080p+ display, 64+8+2+2 MP cameras and a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC charging. The Pro+ version will offer a Snapdragon 870 instead and a much improved camera setup: 50 MP main, 16 MP ultra wide, 13 MP tele and 2 MP depth.
