Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8 Mini, Find X8S launch details outed

Like vivo, Oppo is also working on an Ultra flagship smartphone for 2025: the Find X8 Ultra. This will apparently have a very similar design to that of the Find X8 Pro which is already available, albeit with a thicker camera island. It should still be large and round.

The phone's metal frame also has chamfered transitions between materials. The Find X8 Ultra is said to come with a 6.82-inch "2K" OLED screen made by BOE, which features quad-curves with the same depth across all four sides. The main camera will be a 1-inch type, and the device also gets two periscope telephoto cameras just like the Find X7 Ultra.

Oppo Find X8 Pro

Alongside the Find X8 Ultra, Oppo will launch the Find X8 Mini, in a strategy that's getting ever closer to vivo's (which already has the X200 Pro mini out). Then, expect the Find N5 foldable smartphone, and after that will come the Find X8S series, using the yet-unannounced Dimensity 9400+ SoC from MediaTek.

All of these phones should become official in China in the first half of next year, and the Find N5 is expected to become available internationally as the OnePlus Open 2, although it could take until the second half of 2025 for it to actually launch outside of China. Unfortunately, the Find X8 Ultra will allegedly only be sold in China.
