OnePlus Nord 2T unboxed on video ahead of launch
Unreleased phones tend to leak and in the case of the OnePlus Nord 2T it’s turning into a pretty extensive series as the phone appeared in a detailed unboxing and hands-on video.YouTuber Sahil Karoul managed to get a hold of the unreleased Nord 2T and published a hands-on review with camera samples, benchmarks and gaming tests to show us what the newest Nord phone is capable of.
The device in the video is the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model in the Shadow color. Box contents include a clear plastic case, 80W SuperVOOC charger and a signature red USB-C cable.
OnePlus Nord 2T gets a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 32MP selfie cam. There’s a 50MP main cam around the back, next to an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset and boots OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out the box. There’s a 4,500 mAh battery with supports 80W fast charging.
Nord 2T manages a respectable 622,964 points in AnTuTu and 719 single-core and 2,760 multi-core scores in Geekbench. The device can handle PUBG Mobile quite well and also supports HDR content playback in YouTube and the Widevine L1 codec for HD streaming in apps like Netflix. It remains to be seen when OnePlus will officially announce the Nord 2T but it’s evident that date is fast approaching.
