Nothing Phone (2) pre-orders in India start on June 29

The Nothing Phone (2) will be unveiled on July 11, however, fans in India will be able to pre-order one as soon as June 29 (this Thursday). Well, it’s not quite a “pre-order”, you can sign up on Flipkart’s landing page and reserve a unit as well as scoring some perks.

Actual pre-orders start on July 11 (at least that’s when full payment is due), June 29 is when Flipkart starts accepting ?2,000 deposits from people who want a Phone (2). This deposit is refundable and it qualifies you for a 50% discount on the Ear (stick) (which has an MSRP of ?10,000 but currently goes for ?7,000) as well as 50% off the “Nothing accessories package”. Cashback from “leading banks” will be available as well.

You will have to decide between July 11 (9pm) and July 20 (11:59pm) – if you want the Nothing Phone (2), pick the model you like best and pay the remainder of the price. If not, get your deposit back. Flipkart doesn’t say it explicitly, but we assume that shipping starts on July 21 (or soon after).

Nothing has already confirmed several key details about the Phone (2), here’s what we know so far. The July 11 event will fill in the gaps, so this won’t be a blind pre-order.
