Nokia G11 launches silently with three cameras, big battery

The Nokia G11 made its debut without much in terms of formal announcement - it merely popped up on the company website. The phone promises long battery life and two major OS updates.

The Nokia G11 shares most of its hardware with the Nokia G21 but comes with a downgraded main cam and lighter body.

The Nokia G11 keeps the Unisoc T606 chipset but downgrades it to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The phone has a micro SD slot for up to 512GB more though. The trio of cameras on the back includes 13MP main snapper and a couple of 2MP shooters for depth and macro. The 8MP selfie shooter is mounted on a waterdrop notch.

The Nokia G11 is built around a 6.5” LCD with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Its highlight feature is the 5,050 mAh battery with support for 18W charging, that is said to go for up to three days. Sadly, the adapter included in the box is 10W, so you'll need to supply your own if you want to take advantage of the maximal charging speeds.

Nokia G11

Nokia G11 comes with the generous for an entry level handset promise of three years of security updates and two major OS updates. However, it ships with last year's Android 11, so the first of those will go towards catching up.

The price of the phone is €159 in Europe, and you can pick one of two colors - Ice Blue or Charcoal Gray.
