Nokia 6303i classic unveiled, is the most minor of them updates

2021-05-06

Nokia have just announced an updated version to their highly popular 6303 classic model. The Nokia 6303i classic has more internal memory, support for larger memory cards,a slightly updated retail package and comes in two new colors.

Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking here. The Nokia 6303i classic’s internal memory has been upped to 55 MB (compared to 17MB on the 6303 classic) on internal storage, expandable by up to 8GB cards (up from 4GB), thanks to the built-in card slot. There will also be a 2GB card supplied in the box instead of 1GB.

The strange downgrade to be noticed in the Nokia 6303i classic is the video recording, which now stands at QVGA@8fps, instead of VGA@15fps of the original 6303 classic. If that doesn’t turn out to be a typo one can’t help but wonder why did they include video recording at all.

And one more thing: apparently, the 3-megapixel snapper now lacks autofocus.

The Nokia 6303i classic will be available in White on Silver and Khaki on Gold, along with all the colors we’ve come to know since the original 6303 classic - Matt Black, Steel, Chestnut, Illuvial pink.
