Nokia 105 Classic arrives with UPI payments support, costs less than INR 1,000
HMD launched the Nokia 105 (2023) in India a few months ago with support for India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) system for instant payments. It came with 123PAY to enable UPI payments without internet access. Today, the brand introduced the Nokia 105 Classic in India, which, too, allows UPI payments as it comes with an in-built UPI application.
HDM says the Nokia 105 Classic has "undergone rigorous durability testing to withstand even the toughest environments, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity no matter the circumstances." It also has ample spacing between the buttons on the keypad to make it easier for the users to dial and text, even in the dark.
The feature phone has a wireless FM Radio and packs an 800 mAh battery that allows "uninterrupted conversations from sunrise to sunset."
HMD is yet to detail the Nokia 105 Classic's specs sheet, but the brand said the handset will come in four variants with single and dual-SIM options and with and without a charger.
The Nokia 105 Classic is already available in India in Blue and Charcoal colors starting at INR999 ($12/â¬11). HMD is offering a 1-year replacement guarantee with the purchase.
