Motorola Moto G Stylus 2022 is here with a 90Hz screen and 5,000 battery
The third-generation Moto G Stylus is here and it brings plenty of key upgrades over last year’s model. Starting with the display which now features a faster 90Hz refresh rate and a centered punch-hole cutout for its 16MP selfie shooter.
It’s still a 6.8-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone’s key selling point is the stylus that is stored in its body and while not on the level of Samsung’s S Pen it’s a much more affordable way to jot down notes and sketches on your phone while you’re on the go.
The new Moto G Stylus brings a 50MP main cam around the back alongside an 8MP ultrawide/macro lens and a 2MP depth helper. The right side frame packs a fingerprint scanner. Motorola decided to go with MediaTek’s Helio G88 at the helm aided by 6GB RAM - a 2GB increase more than last year’s model.
The new phone also sports a larger 5,000 mAh battery compared to the 4,000 mAh on its predecessor. The software side is covered by Android 11 with Moto’s My UX interface on top.
