Motorola Moto Edge 40 and 40 Pro detailed specs arrive
We now have detailed specs of the upcoming Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro and Edge 40, courtesy of an extensive leak.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will indeed be a Moto X40 for the global market. That means that a 6.7-inch 1080x2400px OLED with 165Hz maximum refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is 256GB of the faster UFS 4.0 type.
The Edge 40 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery with 125W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone brings a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.5-inch sensor and a 50MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera with macro capabilities. There"s a 60MP selfie camera too.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a 6.55-inch 1080x2400px pOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone will premiere a new MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset. There"s 8GB of LPPDR4X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto Edge 40 will have the same 50MP primary camera as the Pro, but the rest of the setup isn"t as impressive - on the rear is a 13MP ultrawide shooter, and there"s a 32MP front camera. The Moto Edge 40 will have a 4,400mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Both phones are IP68 water and dust-tight.
The Moto Edge 40 has two finisesh - Vegan Leather, and PMMA Acrylic, and will come in four colors - Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, Eclipse Black, and Viva Magenta. The Moto Edge 40 Pro has an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus on both sides, color-wise, it will come in Quartz Black and Angel Falls.
