Motorola Edge S Pro is official, it is a renamed Edge 20 Pro

Motorola was gearing up for an announcement of a new phone in China, and it is now official. The Edge S Pro has been launched with a periscope lens and a Snapdragon 870, but just like we expected, it is just a new name of the already known Edge 20 Pro.

The phone has a 6.7” OLED with Full HD+ resolution, 1 billion colors and Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front. The main camera is advertised as “over 100 MP”, but in reality, it is a 108 MP sensor with 9-in-1 pixel-binning technology and an f/1.9 aperture in front of it.
The other two cameras are an 8 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 16 MP snapper with 119-degree FoV.

The global variant Edge 20 Pro has launched with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, but the users in China can pick out of four possible memory combinations - 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB. Prices vary between CNY2,399 and CNY3,299, which is anywhere between $370 and $510.
Pre-orders have already started, and the first sale is scheduled for August 10.
