Moto G55 and Moto G35 announced with 50 MP cameras
Motorola just announced its newest Moto G-series phones â the G55 and G35. The pair share the majority of their specs and the design, but the G55 offers OIS for its main camera, a more capable Dimensity 7025 chipset, and 30W charging.
Moto G55 is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Moto G35 features the same resolution and refresh rate, but a larger 6.72-inch diagonal. Both phones share the same 16 MP front-facing camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout.
Both phones feature 50 MP main cams though only the one on the G55 is optically stabilized. The secondary module on both phones is an 8 MP ultrawide.
Moto G55 is equipped with the Dimensity 7025 chipset alongside 4/8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage ,while the G35 gets an Unisoc T760 chip with 4 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. Both devices take microSD cards up to 1TB.
Rounding out the spec sheets are 5,000 mAh batteries with 33W charging on the G55 and 18W on the G35. The software side is covered by Android 14 with Motorolaâs Hello UI on top. Both phones feature side-mounted fingerprint scanners, 3.5mm headphone jacks, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Moto G55 comes in Twilight Purple (vegan leather), Smoky Green (vegan leather), and Forest Grey colors and starts at â¬249 in Europe.
Moto G35 is available in Leaf Green (vegan leather), Guava Red, and Midnight Black for â¬199.
